Hyperreal + Gram Gram

“…Imagine an Electrifying Fusion of Futuristic SynthPop, Shoegaze guitars, DreamPop & Cosmic Lush Synths from the year 9000, in Los Angeles, in dazzling colourful outfits…..Think “Sprinkles and Rainbows” meets Alice in Wonderland meets Sgt. Pepper….& elevated by a Black Gospel Soul Choir…”

YES!!..Hyperreal return to the Cluny 2 after a triumphant, euphoric show in March that was part of their sold out UK Tour for their debut album “you.me.us” The raw, electrifying energy of soul-stirring Black Gospel harmonies, fused with lush synths, shoegaze guitars, Psychedelic Soul and DreamPop soundscapes, creates a euphoric live experience like no other… add in an AfroFuturistic rhythm section with a female drummer and new African percussionist and you really do have something completely different.

Hyperreal are on the road this time with their new “What makes You You is Your Superpower” 5 song EP..Once again a rallying cry for those who are different, misfits, and outsiders who struggle to fit in to be their true selves and take pride in being away from the norm. With music described as unashamedly euphoric, this is soul bearing, heart on sleeve music boosted by the no holds barred passion that only a Black Gospel Choir can bring!!
