Gold leaf glitters under the gaze of a deposed king, but the soul of Nancy lies beneath the gilded facades of Place Stanislas. This self-guided audio tour moves past the Museum of Fine Arts and the Lorraine National Opera to the Arc Here, Alliance Square, Nancy Cathedral and the Palace of the Dukes of Lorraine, uncovering the revolution and royal scandal hidden in plain sight. Seventeen stops across the old and new towns, roughly two hours at your own pace, with narration playing as you walk. Your phone is the guide, so start whenever you like and pause for a coffee whenever you want.
